Mein Shop zieht um

Ihr habt vielleicht schon gehört, daß Dawanda Ende August seine Pforten schließt. Das kam als ein ziemlicher Schock für mich, vor allem, weil ich (ahnungslos wie eh und je) keines der Gerüchte, die anscheinend kursierten, vernommen hatte. Plötzlich bekam ich eine Email, daß mein Shop gekündigt wird.

Gott sei Dank hat Dawanda aber gut für seine Verkäufer gesorgt und einen sehr praktischen Deal mit Etsy ausgehandelt, so daß ich nun meinen Shop nach und nach "umziehe". Will heißen, der Shop bleibt so, wie er ist, bis Ende August bei Dawanda bestehen, aber gleichzeitig stelle ich auch nach und nach meine Produkte bei Etsy ein.

Es läuft alles ein wenig anders, das hat aber auch einen großen Vorteil. Dort kann man digitale Produkte sofort nach Abwicklung und Bestätigung der Zahlung, herunterladen, d.h. ihr müsst nicht mehr auf mich warten. Prima, oder?

Im Moment sind nur ca. 20 Produkte bei Etsy eingestellt, aber es kommen täglich mehr dazu. Ihr findet meinen neuen Etsy Shop Scrapbooking mit Rikki hier. Ich würde mich freuen, wenn ich euch auch dort als meine Kunden begrüßen dürfte.

Ich mache eine Blogging-Pause

Nach jahrelangem, fast ununterbrochenem Blogging mache ich jetzt mal Pause. Im Moment habe ich einfach nicht soviel Zeit und Energie, zu Scrappen und darüber auch noch ausführlich zu schreiben. Und Layouts ohne jegliche Erklärungen etc. zu posten, mag ich einfach nicht. Dann kann man sich ja gleich eine Galerie anschauen.

Ich halte mich jetzt hier also mal etwas zurück. Wer meine Layouts und Produkte weiterhin sehen möchte, kann mir gerne bei G+ oder Instagram folgen. Dort poste ich weiterhin regelmäßig. Interessante Artikel und Tutrorials, die ich finde, pinne ich weiterhin auf diesem Board bei Pinterest. Außerdem kannst du auch meinen Dawanda Shop "beobachten", indem du  ihn als Lieblingsshop markierst.

Ich hoffe, wir sehen uns auf einer der Seiten wieder. Bis dahin...

Online Kurs - Cluster Queen

Ich bin kein Cluster Fan. Am liebsten sind mir fertige Cluster, wenn ich überhaupt welche benutzen will. Nicht, daß mir Cluster nicht gefielen (bis zu einem gewissen Punkt. Bei Layouts, bei denen ich vor lauter Cluster keine Fotos mehr sehe, hört es auf), aber ich bin nicht besonders gut darin, sie herzustellen.
Für alle, die genaus so über sich denken, gibt es jetzt bei Digital Scrapper einen neuen Online Kurs von Jen White, den Cluster Queen Kurs.

Im letzten Newsletter wurde schon mal als ein kleiner Vorgeschmack ein "No fail 3-pc cluster" Trick vorgestellt, den ich in die Tat umgesetzt habe. Und siehe da, es ist gar nicht so schwer....

Digiscrapparade - Brrrr! Freebie collab kit

Es ist wieder einmal soweit - ein neues Collab der Digiscrapparade ist da. Es ist ein Winterkit namens Brrrr! in einer typischen Winterfarbpalette. Eine Übersicht über alle Teile siehst du hier auf diesem Pinterest Board. Wenn die Parade auch seit ihrem Start sehr zusammengeschrumpft ist, ist das Kit doch immer noch - zumal für Leute mit kleinem Budget - eine echt tolle Sache!

And once more it is time for the Digiscrapparade. The new collab Brrrr! is a winter kit with a typical colour scheme. An overview of all the parts can be found on this Pinterest Board. Even though the Parade has shrunk quite a bit since it started out it is still a great offer - most of all for scrappers with a limited budget. 

Love your beary much - Heritage Layout

Mit dem neuen BYOC Kit "Love you beary much" von Pink Reptile Designs habe ich dieses Heritage Layout gemacht. Die Template kommt von Tangie Baxter und ist kostenlos hier zu bekommen. das Foto habe ich mit einem Farbverlauf im Multiply Blending Mode überzogen - ein Effekt, der mir sehr gut gefällt.

MOC 5: Photography Challenge (ohne Menschen)

Für die Challenge an Tag 5 sollten wir ein Foto ohne Menschen verwenden. Nichts einfacher als das! Dieser Drache hatte es mir schon angetan, als ich ihn zum ersten Mal gesehen habe, und ich glaube, ich könnte noch zehn Layouts mit dem Foto machen.

For the challenge on day 5 we were supposed to use a people-less photo. Well, that's easy! I loved that dragon at first sight and I could probably make another ten pages with the picture.

Ganz unten sehr ihr einen Screenshot mit allen Layouts des Albums. Wieder ein Projekt geschafft, und ich bin sehr zufrieden damit.

MOC 4: Photography Challenge (Perspektive)

MOC Tag 4: Die Challenge - ein Foto aus einer ungewöhnlichen Perspektive, Vogelblick, von unten usw...
Da traf es sich gut, daß ich im Dezember dieses Foto gemacht hatte. Eigentlich wollte ich ja kein Weihnachtslayout mehr machen - ich kann echt keine Weihnachtsprodukte mehr sehen -, aber hier machte ich dann eine Ausnahme. Die Template ist von Fiddle Dee Dee, von der ich ausnahmsweise mal nicht alle Clusterelemente entfernt habe. Da das Foto ja ziemlich farbintensiv ist, hielt ich mich mit anderen Farben dezent zurück.

MOC Day4: The challenge - a photo from an unusual perspective, bird's eye, worm's eye etc. 
As it happened I took this photo in December and it was perfectly suitable. In fact I didn't plan to make any more Christmas pages - I really have enough of Christmas products -, but here I made an exception. The template is from Fiddle Dee Dee, and for once I left quite a few cluster elements. Vecause the photo is quite colour intensive I held back on all other colours.

MOC 3: Mood board challenge

MOC Tag 3: Die Herausforderung: Kreiere ein Mood Board und dann danach ein Layout. Ich hatte schon letztes Jahr einige Mood Board gemacht (die ich noch immer nicht gepostet habe), und das hat richtig Spass gemacht. Als Thema dachte ich mir sowas wie "Paris Chic". Daraus ist dann dieses Mood Board entstanden:

MOC 1: Blind Scrap

Heute reiche ich noch mein erstes Layout für den MOC nach. Die erste Challenge war ein "Blind Scrap" - man bekommt ein paar Anweisungen und macht danach sein Layout.

Dieses Jahr sind mir endlich mal ein paar Feuerwerksbilder geglückt, weil ich mir ein ziemlich praktisches kleines Stativ mit Fernbedienung gekauft habe, das ich um die Balkonbrüstung gewickelt habe. Ha!!!

Today I am showing you my first MOC layout for a blind scrap, i.e. you scrap your page according to a few instructions. 

This year I could finally come up with some fireworks shots because I bought this nifty little tripod with a remote control that I wrapped around our balcony railing. Love it!

MOC 2: Sketch challenge

Am 01.01. begann der jährliche MOC bei The Lilypad, den ich heuer zum zweiten Mal mitmache. MOC heißt Month of Challenges, Jeden Tag eine Challenge, manchmal locker, manchmal mit ziemlich strikten Bedingungen.

Dies ist hier mein Layout von Tag 2, mit dem ich auf dem Blog anfange, denn es ist mit dem neuen BYOC Beitrag von Mirjam gemacht, der heute rauskommt.
Die Challenge war eine Sketch Challenge, bei der man sich nach einem Sketch von Dawn Inskip richten sollte. Brand New Year von Pink Reptile Designs ist viel über Vorsätze, Ziele etc. - habe ich keine... da traf es sich gut, daß ich doch echt am Dienstag mit zwei verschiedenen Socken in der Arbeit erschien, :-)

On 01.01. the annual MOC started at The Lilypad which I am joining for the second time. Every day a challenge, sometimes laid back, sometimes pretty strict. 

This is my page for day 2, with which I am starting on the blog because it was made with the BYOC contribution from Mirjam that is being released today. 
The challenge was a sketch challenge; we had to work with a sketch from Dawn Inskip. Brand new Year from Pink Reptile Designs is a lot about resolutions and goals - I don't have any... lucky coincidence that I went to the office in two different socks on Tuesday, :-)

12 Days of Art Journaling

Schon 2016 gab es die 12 Days of Art Journaling bei The Lilypad, die ich begeistert mitmachte. Dieses Jahr war es wieder soweit und zwölf Tage bedeutet für mich zwölf ATCs.

Basierend auf den twelve days of Christmas kann man immer etwas mit dem tatsächlichen Songtext machen, oder aber mit einer vorgegebenen Alternative.

Already last year I joined the 12 days of art journaling at The Lilypad. This year it happened again and that means for me 12 ATCS.

Tag 1: On the 1st day of Christmas some true friends brought to you, a cup of cocoa and marshmallows too!!

Das hier ist meine ATC dazu, und sie schaffte es gleich zu einem GSO, was mich sehr überraschte, denn ich habe die Karte schnell hingepfeffert zwischen zwei DYD Layouts und einer Episode Vikings.

This is my ATC and it made GSO that really surprised me. It took me all of 15 minutes to throw it together between two DYD pages and a Vikings episode.
