Und wieder einmal schließt ein alteingesessener DigiShop seine Pforten! Ich weiß echt nicht, wie oft ich noch einen solchen Post verfassen muß, bis die Misere ihr Ende hat.
Diesmal ist Scrapbookgraphics an der Reihe. Du kannst dir Mayas Videobotschaft hier anhören/ansehen, aber die Quintessenz ist, daß sie den Laden aus gesundheitlichen Gründen schließt. Zwar ist hier der Grund wohl nicht mangelnde Rentabilität - zumindest hörte es sich nicht danach an -, aber es bleibt dabei: Die Konsolidierung geht weiter.
Sicherlich werden die Designer irgendwo anders unterkommen. Wo, wird in den nächsten Newslettern, ebenso wie das Schließdatum, bekanntgegeben. Scrapbookgraphics ist schon lange nicht mehr der größte Shop, so denke ich, die 16 Designer werden sicherlich ihren Platz finden - sofern sie die Gelegenheit nicht dazu nutzen, ganz aufzuhören. Scrapbookgraphics hatte einen ziemlich einheitlichen Stil mit ein, zwei Ausnahmen vielleicht; ich bin sehr gespannt, wo wir die Designer wiedertreffen werden.
And once more an established digi shop closes down. I really don't know how many more posts like this I have to write before the misery has come to an end.
This time it is Scrapbookgraphics. You can listen/watch Maya's video message here, but the gist is that she is closing shop for health reasons. It seems that the reason for closing has nothing to do with a lack of profitability - at least it didn't sound like it - but the fact remains: the consolidation continues.
Certainly the designer will find another shop to sell. The next newsletters will tell us where they will go as well as the closing date. Scapbookgraphics isn't the largest shop anymore, so I think it won't be hard for the 16 girls to find a spot elsewhere - if they don't take the opportunity to retire completely. Scrapbookgraphics has a pretty unified style - with a couple of exceptions maybe; so I am very curious to find out where we will meet the designers again.
